You may have heard murmurs around something called The GDPR over the past few months and you may not have had the time to find out much about it. So, we\u2019ve written a brief overview about what it is and how it affects you.<\/p>\n

Firstly, it\u2019s probably best to tell you what The GDPR actually stands for. It is The General Data Protection Regulation and it is a European law that takes effect on May 25th 2018 designed to protect the personal data of its citizens. The GDPR is focused on re-empowering individuals, and giving them more control over their personal data, with new, enhanced, and up-to-date data protection rights.<\/p>\n

Know your rights<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have the right to be informed<\/strong>\u00a0about how KAT Securities use your data. We\u2019ve recently updated our privacy policy and cookie policy to explain in clearer detail how KAT Securities use your data.
